Post your deskthority header images here

Changed the rules, all pictures which are endorsed by at least three other members here will be added to rotation.

I endorse GeorgeStorm's one above.

@002: I like bright colors more myself
@mrinterface: weird!
@daedalus: would love a dark one in a low light setting, if your camera can cope

Could you try retaking those with less grain? Potential is there I'd say..

OCN had this little ducky for a while in the banner.

BOY did everybody start posting asking how to turn that one off.

Cave Anas!

And ignore Off. Grain is artistic.

I endorse 'em all, except the first (very nice but Lacoste is too off-topic), and the 4th (clickclack key is hidden behind logo, too light for tagline).

Yeah, the color, and contrast doesn't work with the elegant and simplistic look of the page.

I didn't mean that. Also, when I look at it, I read Ripster somewhere outside the cropped picture ...

We should make a poll about the best and throw some of the not so good looking out.

I would love it if we could have a little wiki site with a description and larger images that the banners would link to.
I know it currently links to the deskthority main page which makes total sense but when I see some of those pictures I just want to take a closer (or in this case, less close) look. :)

Sixty had the same idea and made this mockup earlier. You only see that info when your mouse pointer moves over the header. Xbb may have been working on it, not sure, there were some other priorities.

Thanks!

Just edit the headline and description of your own images.

What is that with the mouse pointer moves over the header?

edit: Doesn't even work with JavaScript switched on.

It's pretty powerful.

And so do people want the original images? Or just larger versions of the exact images used in the header? (often I've cropped a little)
