Pretty funny that an American coin has a round weight in grams instead of some funky unit taken from the harry potter world... :D

I think the logo is better, but that huge background with transparent overlay is seriously misguided. Make the content background solid dark gray, problem solved.

God I hate VB4. The light theme is better because the dark theme is unusable.

First thing I did yes, was switching to the light theme. But even that I find it a bit messy.
What I like of deskthority theme is the clarity of it, without too many links/buttons around, there is much more focus on the post's content/text.

That said, we can't stay behind and I propose we change the background to a huge fixed transparent duck.

Can the duck be as black as in your avatar, and the background of the duck as grey as an industrial gray IBM keyboard?

Apparently the theme is a temporary measure until such a time that the guy who made the old one can update the old themes to VB4.

Same here. I had been hoping that the old one still existed, though ..

I project that my visits to geekhack.org are going to be very few until the old theme is back.

Lower the contrast between the light and the dark sections in the background image and it is really perfect and less irritating.

Well said.

Every site has their plusses and minuses.

OCN allows you to title the YouTube Video.

Geekhack allows you to pick from MULTIPLE video sources not just YouTube and it's a lot more straightforward now.

Deskthority YouTube html method is Old Skool but I like the autoenlargement of the video so you can enjoy it more.
