How to best pull a KBC Pokers keys?

For cleaning purposes (or later on putting on new keycaps):
How do I best remove the keycaps on my KBC Poker?

I don't have a keycap-puller, and I am afraid that I could break something, considering the keys are PCB mounted.

Take some lengths of string, loop under both side, pull up evenly, maybe a little wiggle rocking.

Make one out of paperclips. But in the longterm you should buy one, it makes life a lot easier.
