Yesterday a couple of Chicony 5192 with yellow mitsumi switches arrived.
One of them flickers its LEDs non stop and it doesn't interact with the pc.
The blinking stops for a short amount of time if I type anything and then resumes.
I am thinking broken controller, any ideas?

There is a switch, but I tried both with the same effect. This is why I think it's a broken controller, normally if you put a kb in XT mode it just doesn't react.Muirium wrote: ↑Perhaps. Also: XT/AT. Is there a switch on the keyboard?

The other one has non functioning F and 2 and some keyswitches are clicky and shouldn't be sooo at least one good keyboard it's going to come out of thisMuirium wrote: ↑Then you've got a parts donor!
