[eBay.de] Compaq MX 11800

Hi,

while browsing ebay for some keyboards, I discovered this: http://www.ebay.de/itm/COMPAQ-Computer-Tastatur-PS2-inkl-Trackball-Kugel-Maus-/300679114736

While this probably should not be too unusual, a similar keyboard was sold for quite a low price (see link). In this previous auction the seller also stated that he could deliver more of the keyboards upon request. So this could be an opportunity for anyone of you who is interested in these boards.

These contain MX BROWNS so depending on condition the switches are worth a lot by themselves.

please, no one bid and someone do a group buy for 5 € a piece
if this ends at 20€+ that would be unlikely

I would definitely take one at 5 euros also.

-- edit --
Max price for me : 15 euros as well, eventually 20 if it is in really good shape.

For 5 € or not much more I would be in, as well. I always wanted to test a trackball and MX browns. :D

Well, I never even bid on anything on ebay, so I guess I'm out (at least with regard to contacting the seller). :?
Mrinterface wrote:Not me, my German is schrecklich...

It's probably better than a lot of the things you stumble upon on the internet or in German schools these days.

EDIT: Did someone from here bid on it?

EDIT²: Wrong quote.

Since I brought that up here I also could contact the seller. But I am really new to the whole group buying matter and this forum in general so I would not mind if one of the more experienced users would take over :) .

edit: damnit it's DE layout/keys... make that definite if 15E delivered
Still a sweet looking board though, shame the trackball supposedly sucks

Do you also intend to do the group buy? And are you the one who bid on it on ebay? :o

No, I did not bid on the keyboard. I just wrote the seller to find out how many keyboards he has to offer, but I did not get a reply yet.

Ok, I just got a reply from the seller: He says that he has about 20 of the keyboards lying around. Price varies on the amount of keyboards sold as a bundle (no specific values so far).

So how do the next steps look like? Is anyone interested in organizing a group buy?

If you take care of it, ventorix should tell the seller he isn't interested anymore (just to keep the price down).

mintberryminuscrunch, that would be great if you organized a group buy for these, as nobody else seems to volunteer. Even if it takes some time, it's better than not getting them at all!
