[For sale] TNS Browns, RF 87U 45g, Filco ergo-Clears, Topre CCs

Preface: Some goodies for sale. Spent a lot of money recently and need to off-load some of that expense  I hope some of you can benefit from this. Some additional information below:
  • Shipping only CONUS48 due to large package size (that's what he said?)
  • You can always request additional images, I love taking pictures.
  • All keyboards sold will have a thorough cleaning and dusting with my DataVac
  • If you are concerned with the prices (which a lot of people seem to be on here), please PM me or leave constructive criticism below :)
  • As far as feedback is concerned, I'm a well-known Geekhack member with outstanding ratings (65 unique positives, 0 negatives) and plenty more on eBay, so you should be well taken care of.

TypeNow Solid with Cherry MX Browns - $350 + Shipping (CONUS 48 ONLY; weighs over 4 lbs.)
  • Near new condition, comes with all original packaging except the keycaps (you don't want those anyway, they are not great).
  • *Optional: KBC PBT engraved keycaps is +$40 (as pictured below). CC is not included
  • Features: Standard Leopold layout, with unique Orange plate. Anodized black aluminum case.
  • To me, the switches feel pre-lubed (as others have also mentioned), so they don't feel as scratchy as your typical Filco or Leopold with Cherry Browns.

Image

Realforce 87U Uniform 45g - $250 + Shipping (CONUS 48 Only)
  • Near new condition. Comes with all original packaging.
  • Original grey/white keycaps have been swapped for all white.
  • Optional: CF/CC "3D" Skull +$75 (only with purchase of keyboard), Lavender WASD (new) +$10
  • Additional Product Specifications: http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php? ... =rf_se0900
  • Got too many Realforces, time to let one go.

Image

Filco White TKL with ergo-Clears - $175 + shipping (CONUS 48 Only)
  • Great condition. Minimal to average usage. Comes with all original packaging except the keycaps . I tend to get rid of all OEM Filco keycaps.
  • Keyboard was originally MX Browns that has been modified to ergo-Clears by Clickey. Some background about the ergo-Clears, they use the same 45g spring found within MX Reds, Blues and Browns. The difference is they utilize a MX Clear stem to provide a significant amount of additional tactility. This is my personal favorite switch.
  • The switches are NOT lubed.
  • Optional: Cherry Black/Beige keycap set (alphanumeric has little to no shine, everything else is light shine) +$50, SP Black/Beige Moogle set +$20. Only sold with keyboard and blue 'Esc' key not included.
  • You know I'm desperate for money if I'm selling this bad boy

Image

Note: The following items below are for trade only. See below for my list of things I'm interested in

The only reason you still have that headphone stand is because the price is too high. $67 + a shitload shipping is a real turnoff.

Why you thread-crapping? If you don't like his stuff or prices, beat it.

I sold 2 bottom rows for that + shipping and paypal fees, so the capslock is cheaper. And it was $29 shipped and paypaled for JUST the capslock without buying anything else. It's only $20 when other stuff is thrown in.

I like his stuff, just not the price. Why are you so hostile? I am showing interest if the price is lower, jeeze... And a post calling someone a thread-crapper in and of itself craps a thread. You have shown no interest, so technically you are the thread crapper by your own logic.

Now I'm starting to sound like Ripster...

When you are knocking someones prices in their own sale thread, you are thread-crapping. I was simply reminding you of this. But back on topic.

It's all good in the hood.

Yes, the headset stand is expensive because it is custom made by Eric Barney. Really high quality stuff.

Originally, I believe I paid $180 or so plus shipping for both the wristrest and headset stand. Custom to order, and production time was over 3 weeks. I estimated $100 for the wristrest, and $80 for the headset stand (which I believe was the original price I was asking, and have been lowering it every week or so).

Send me a PM, maybe we can work something out. I can tell you're cheap but so am I. I love haggling

Edit: Oh, and shipping shouldn't be terribly expensive domestically speaking. Boxing included, I'm thinking it should be between $15-18 via UPS with $100 insurance automatically covered. I wouldn't ship this via USPS because God knows it will arrive busted into 3 pieces.

That price...

Nixon was involved in one of my PMs for my own haggling sale thread. It gave me a good laugh.

All my best shit ain't in my sale thread or up for trades though.

I will send a PM when I get around to it. I've been sending PMs nonstop for the whole week... Good thing I'll be on vacation all next week. OMG... I wonder what my inbox will look like?!

Well the guess is in which aspect the price is "too" high.
I do woodworking myself and scrolled over the post seing the price first, which I found decent for the description.
Then I saw the pics and it turned into ridiculous low for that kind of work which is a ton of it btw..
I wouldn't even bother to make it myself for that price.
So if you just want something to put your Headphones on, yeah that maybe too high indeed.
For what work it is this is completely a steal, imo.

It would range between $15-35 depending on what method you wanted to choose. It is quite expensive, but if you're serious about purchasing it, I can get you a quote.

You're right kint. Any woodworker would know that this is an underpriced item, but in relevance to other headphone stands, it's absurdly expensive. But the quality and craftsmanship put into this, it should belong to someone who would appreciate it's artist and creator.
