Awesome new blue, less flashy than the one in the op (which is awesome still); and seems as though your new clear plug is slightly less clear, a bit more green/yellow-ish? Should match niicely with that army olive you mentioned :D
ps, update your op/sp with these new thingies man! glws!

Yup, these plugs are not as clear as the previous ones and as you can see also 'matte' in design due to the orange peel structure.

And i gotta agree with you, im also someone that likes the more nuanced colors better than those eye-hurting neons but they do stand out....

Here's the green super strong material btw compared to the pale blue;

pale/babyflash in this pic ;)
You see what flash and backgroundcolour do with photos.. man.
nice green&black indeed; the way you fit the black/white onto the connectors does show some less high quality though!
So how do you work with the green? Just coldcut then melt somehow or.. still gotta find a nice solution?

And thats my current problem; The white-balance on my camera just doesnt feel like showing colors like i think it should so before i change my posts again i need to figure something out for that :? i have for example a really really beautiful purple color in stock but i cannot for the life of me capture it on film.....

An yup, that black cable sucks! Thats because... well its for ME  I may look like sh!t but for me functionality (and the ability to throw a cable together in 27 seconds) is most important.

and always remember that you are your store, so what you use for cabling should be pretty much top notch; then when people go 'ey damn that's nice' you can go 'yeesssss, for you I make spesjul price yes; special order handmade high quality one time offer'

Oh i can cut the green stuff with scissors no problem but it will fray pretty darn quick so i have to leave some excess material when working with it but that gives the problem that i ofc also have to cut the excess material away afterwards and one cant cut super thin and strong stuff with scissors all that close... its just tricky tricky.

Yup, still stuff everything inside casings as good as possible so in the black ones the fraying is not a big issue but still... i just wanna find a proper way to work with the stuff ;)

And nope, again white-balance playing tricks on the ferrite core holder there. Its grey.

And the leather in the background will one day be my keyboard carrying case btw 8-)

For the white balance, can you set your camera to manual mode, then fix the exposure settings and ISO speed? If you can set your camera to shoot in RAW, even better, but JPEG will be fine. If so, then what you do is you get a white balance card and place that in the same location that you're going to be shooting your materials, so the lighting is consistent with the shot you're going to take. Snap a photo of that, then put your product in it's place. After you're done, open up Photoshop or some other good photo editor and adjust the white balance (a.k.a. "Levels) until it matches what the white balance card needs to look correct. Then you just use these same settings for your other photos. You can also just include the white balance card in the photo, adjust it during post-processing, then crop out the white balance card. The nice thing about this is that it helps eliminate the need to do this on a properly calibrated monitor, because you can set the white, black and gray levels directly on the white balance card, so if it's not showing up properly on the viewer's end, then it's because their monitor is out of whack, but at least you've done what you can for it. Also, use a common color space like sRGB, so that most monitors support it. It's not the best color space, but it's one of the most widely supported.

Well yeah, i actually know how to set white balance with my camera and ive tried setting it all manually, ive also tried RAW imagery (long live CHDK) and adjusting the wb afterwards but then the only thing ill be sure about is like you say, that the color is correct on MY monitor...

Maybe it would indeed be smart to get me a proper white-balance card thingy cuz the paper ive been using for this purpose so far is probably not as white as i think it is (that, or the camera is messed up). Given that the purple is messed up worst i guess the paper is a bit yellow-ish.

Got a 1960's industrial Singer here that will poke through any fabric ive tried from tent material, sails, heavy outside sunblinds to ofc bags;

That puppy has in the thickest spot 6 layers of heavy impregnated canvas and a 1mm plastic plate, machine ate it raw. Just never tried leather on it before, machine will probably need some slight mods for it to work but we'll see...

And ofc, it will have the proper cushioning and protective material to sort of protect the keys 8-)

I'm just saying, back when I tried to assault an original PTT bag with my mom's Singer- didn't go too well ;)
Ofcourse my technique was lacking, yet caution is advised (and a heavy duty needle). Don't think hers was industrial though.

If it was a modern singer... dont even try, those things suck. When sewing machines are concerned there's a simple rule for me, if its under 25kg it isn't any good. The above is actually made from PTT bags, 6 layers thick! The needles i use are basically railroad spikes LOL Still have a dozen bags in stock in various conditions that im gonna keep a firm grip on, they are getting more rare by the day now with those horrible plastics they use.

I see. But the one I was referring to was the tough-as-nails thick red leather one, not the torn-up canvas ('sinterklaas jutenzak') hipster typed one :P
Can't seem to find a pic though...
It looked like this only in pure red (no orange bs) .... and ofcourse leather instead of felt.

Oh, you mean the actual bags the postal guys use, not the ones they ship the mail in internationally (and they are not as torn up or weak as you might think, these bags are almost 1.5kg a piece)! I still have a bicycle set of those, its rubberised leather. Yeah, thats tough stuff but i think that you should be able to re-work that with a proper oiler on your needle....

I want one cable.

a) Default connectors as shown on your first picture. (Mini USB to USB, for the HHKB).
b) 20 cm (which is half of a 15 inch laptop so that should be epic).
c) I don't care how strong and thick it is. I just want it to be black, white or silverish.
d) I guess default so it works with a hhkb.

pm me the price and ur iban or pp.

also, love ur bag. Need one like that.

Sounds like you're familiar with the process, then. I'd definitely pick up a white balance card, they're not that expensive, and hopefully that's all you need. Personally, I like the ones that have white, black, and neutral gray, like this one:

That doesn't sound that weak indeed.. So you made a heavy bag from those I'm guessing ;)
"rubberised leather. "
Well that explains a lot.. that does fit exactly the way I remember that bag.
"i think that you should be able to re-work that with a proper oiler on your needle...."
Just oil the needle (for heatdistribution and lubrication?) ey.. when I find that bag again someday, and feel like actually using and thus modifying it, I'll think of that, cheers!

20cm will be cutting it pretty short, the cables i use are a bit stronger than regular USB cable and when you try to bend them in very tight corners they get kinda bouncy. I could however build you one from a more supple cable or i could build it just a hair longer so it has more room to corner.

I still have some orders i need to complete from the first batch, after that i can put you on the order list if you wish with everybody else who posted in this thread.
