I'm looking for some lube too, is the ro-59 good/what and where should I look for some in general?

(sorry to disrupt your thread :) )

There was talk about a group buy a year or so ago... but apparently, it was just talk.
If anybody in Europe feels inclined towards doing one, how about starting with an interest thread to see if there is enough demand to start a group order?

I can get this stuff from Yahoo Auctions Japan if you guys are interested.
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w76960287

It's 200 yen for the bottle and then 120 yen for 2ml of lubricant up to a maximum of 10ml.
e.g. 10ml = 120yen x 5 + 200 yen = 800 yen

Can you find how much it would cost including proxy fees and postage to the UK?

It may be cheaper if you just order it by yourself, because I don't think shipping from Japan to UK to Singapore is going to be cheaper than Japan to Singapore.

Lol true that. Forgot Japan and Singapore are in Asia for a sec there! Been hanging out too much in the American & European forums.

I WILL be getting some for myself. If more people want to order with me it will bring down shipping prices and proxy fees (per person).

I will only be doing this for the EU. I'm waiting for 002 to get back on if he has a proxy cheaper than tenso. Look at the links above to how the bottle it up.

I'm curious this MAY BE a little bit off topic but still related to lubricants.
Will Silicon based lubricant work?

The reason I'm importing ro-59 is because it is the best and I don't fancy testing lubes out on a $450 keyboard. I'm sure most lubes would lube something but to what extent and for how long.

Oh no I do understand that ro-59 is the best it is just that if the silicon lubricant doesn't work I was gonna join this group buy.

I'm only shipping within EU, seems like your in Canada. If there is enough of you guys you might want to start a groupbuy getting it shipped over the pond.

btw Is there any benefit to buying ro-59 over other stuff you may get locally?
