Topre Realforce 91UDK-G For Sale(Geekhackers, PM me!)

I have a Topre Realforce 91UDK-G in Japanese layout which I bought from Japan when I lived there around a year ago. It has black cat on a moonless night keys, violet wasd keys and as well as the wire picker for the keys. I will trade this for a US layout mechanical keyboard or sell it. Unsure what to ask for this, looking for something in the 160 - 225 range would be fair probably. Going to gauge interest now and see what kind of offers I get. I bought this for 300 and didn't use it much at all!

Unfortunately I lost the box and the original black wasd keys during my move back to America.

Some Geekhackers such as Tomek PM'd me but for some reason Geekhack banned me and my IP for posting in the sales thread, possibly because I had only one post there? No idea, I got no warning. Very frustrating.

I can provide Ebay feedback as well as Feedback from other forums. Mainly dealing with collector video games such as the Neo-Geo etc.

Well Geekhack seems to be down atm that may have something to do with it?

I assume you're shipping from the US and price is in $?

Yes, I am shipping from the US and price is in USD. I am relatively new to the keyboard scene, can some honest people here tell me if I am asking for too little for this? I figured that Japanese layout would be harder to sell to English members so I put it at $150 in my original Geekhack thread. Should I be getting more like $200? I see others selling Realforce keyboards for $250 etc. though. Any input on this would be nice~! Hard to place a value on this with my limited expertise.

I have been getting a ton of PM's about it though so I feel maybe it is too low. LOL

$250-300 is a good range for a lightly used tenkeyless Realforce. The biggest problem you're likely to run into with this one is finding someone that wants the Japanese layout.

Maybe a fair price would be about $225 for this then. Slightly lower than average for the fact it's in Japanese layout...

The best selling point for your board is that it's uniform 45g :)

Personally, I'd much prefer the japanese versions (of f.i. hhkb2pro, layout; or g80-3000 for the characters, chinese looks hot as well) but I might be on the niche side with that; guessing there might be more like me though.
Look for guys that appreciate thumbbuttons/smallspace (i.e. 7bit)!
Sadly I'm not looking to spend any more for the next half year or so at least.

Then again, I do hate the 1u backspace, the inverse L enter and the short right-shift.. but that bottom row :)

Just sold it for $225. Think it was a fair deal for both sides. Thanks for the input guys.

That's a good price for both parts.

Well I posted this in the keyboard section but I thought I'd post here too to get a quicker response as it's a bit urgent. Here is my copied post:

"Hello everyone. I recently sold a Realforce 91-UDKG to a member. As I was taking the keys off to clean it to get it ready to ship out to him I noticed that tiny rust spots here and there developed across the black metal plate the switches are all stuck to, the play which is on top of the circuit board directly under the key caps. I was unaware this rust was there because with all of the keys on I can' really see it unless I'm tilting it in the air above my head looking under the keycaps. I always babied my board and even covered it when I wasn't using it so this was a shock to me.

I bought this keyboard in Japan around a year ago and the entire time I used the keyboard I was living in Japan. It's a pretty humid country. I'm guessing this is why just the top of the board has the rust, where it was exposed to air more.

1) Is this a normal development on the metal plates of keyboards?
2) Is this harmful to the board or only cosmetic?
3) Is this something that can be cleaned or covered up?

I told the buyer of my discovery and told him I'd research this to make sure it's nothing abnormal before shipping it out tomorrow so your help would be appreciated."

My thrash boards (heavily used) have these rust spots but my boxed ones don't.
I live in a humid environment too, but in saying that, I'm not exactly careful with my boards.

Got a picture of the damage?
