I wonder if the MW3 version is somewhat a new revision hardware wise, or did they just change the grips?

It's identical, just has a mw3 logo.

Get a replacement grip on ebay if you can't stand the mw3 logo. That's what I did. Other than that it is a G9x with the mw3 logo.

Im not sure about the G9x but for the G9 at least, my acid sweat slowly ate away the rubberised coating. My whole grip is completely shiny now
