So my first attempt to collect some interest in doing a sticker GB has failed over at GH, but since I really want some, I'm doing it again here, and I'll try to put more form into it !


I'm highly interested in doing a GB for mech keyboard related stickers.

What I want to be able to do with those stickers is:
1) Act as conversation starter. Let's face it, we love to talk about keyboards. And if you have a sticker somewhere pointing out that you have some interesting hobby(who said keyboards are dull? è_é), a lot of people will ask you about it !
2) Get spotted by a fellow mech keyboard enthousiast. If you don't have a visible mech keyboard in front of you, most people won't know you share the same passion. Which is dumb . It also could be usefull for the people who are on the fence of buying one to try some of yours !
3) Spread the word ! We need more followers xD.
4) Brag off. We payed more than the average on a keyboard, we should get some recognition for it dammit ! (teeheeh).
5) Personalize/customize/pretty up your stuff ! Subsitute your ugly logos on your stuff with this one, or just fill the blanks !
6) Solder up the mech keyboard community by creating some sort of banner/icone which represents us?

I won't run this as a typical GB. The amount involved are pretty low, so I should be able to upfront the money, if I feel the interest is high enough. I will later on resell those at approximately my buy price.

BUT: I suck terribly in design. So I can't do the logo myself :s. I hope some of you are willing enough to help me on this part, and I hope that by croudsourcing the design we'll come up with something awesome !

I'm thinking of getting them from http://www.lastickerie.com/ because they seem decent, I know some guys having done their stickers by them, and I don't know any other compagny offering such a service, but if you have a better alternative, shoot away !

I really hate those "<insert baby name> on board!" stickers on cars.
I'm not too fond of stickers especially if they give you away.

And no, I don't want people (only my close friends) to know I'm a freaky keyboard enthusiast.
It's almost as telling you are a virgin in a brothel (the REAL one)...

You can also propose designs for your keyboards, keyboard boxes, which only your close friend will have to see. . (for example: « this keyboard uses __<blank>__ switches » )

I care more about the stickers being awesome than the stickers having a political value attached to them actually.

I still think we need a "Typing on a coud of boobs" sticker...text superimposed over an MX red stem. I bet you that WILL be a conversation starter

Uuu uuu uu. I got an awesome key cap maker template I designed in inkscape that maybe you can use to spell out deskthority.net with different fonts and and colours. It makes easy for making keycaps for dye-subbing. Need to make it in PS(PostScript) though. But awesome comments on the actual
