Got my latest Key Tronic keyboard today.

I knew it was Key Tronic, but I did not expect these switches:




On the other hand, they fit with the production date:



Warning sticker inside is a bit cryptic:

As always, typical Key Tronic:
It is easy to open. Just undo 5 screws outside and 4 inside.

Lol. I once spent two weeks in Spokane on a job. Nice town. Hotel still had a moose head in the lobby.

Heavy linear keytronic feel. No click.

The case and backplate are solid metal. Don't know what (most likely aluminum).

I think I will take it to the keyboard party, maybe someone can make it work.

Heavy as in mx clear spring heavy, or?
Awesome blue spring though, might wanna invest in some custom molded new transparent caps ^^

Looking at the pictures, I recognised at once the typical Key Tronic PCB.

Great keyboard. Would be nice you could upload those images to the wiki (and thereby participate in the wiki contest)!

Also, would be great if you remove a key cap and take a picture of the switch.

Feel free to get them off GH and further crop/post-process to your heart. I don't have any other copies as they were very quick temporaries.

For quite some time in possession of Lord Duckingham.
Btw the switch looked exactly like yours, just the spring wasn't colored IIRC.

I guess you have read the UART info in the GH thread. Do ask if you need further help getting that board running.
