[Photos] One year with my Filco

I've been typing on my Filco tenkeyless for over one year now, and I'd like to share with you the modifications I made to the keyboard so far. It's nothing exotic, but I like the result! :D

Image

The keyboard came with English UK keycaps, so I've never actually used the original alpha keys. The only italian keycaps I could find back then were lasered pbts. Too bad they were grey!

Image

Then I added some Tipro relegendables to use the F-keys ase media keys on OS-X. Fishy!

Image

At last a set of black italian cherry doubleshots surfaced... in the U.S.! I got them with the help of Biniaris.

Image

Then came Moogle Kit 2!

And finally, the current setup. Hashbaz's RGBY and original cherry relegendables (also from Biniaris).

Now I'm looking forward to the replacement yellow key (with a stronger shade of yellow) and Moogle kit 3!

Looks nice, really like the F row keys, and I think I prefer the colour of the grey rather than the black, but fair enough, glad to see a happy user :)

Nice!

Gotta ask - what did the wine bottle key do?

And how did you print the labels?

Only now noticed you'd changed them from the second last pic to the last; why'd you drop the nice esc and frost icons? (meaning that esc icon could be used elsewhere perhaps)
*edit: frost > square

Thanks guys! Glad you like it.

At first I couldn't find any useful media functions for F5, F6 and F14. So I just printed funny labels! Now I remapped F5 to "reload" and F14 as "show desktop". F6 is still fish!
The labels in the first pics are printed on glossy paper. It looks nice on tipro relegendables. However it doesn't make much difference on Cherry relegendables, because of the matte finishing. So the latest labels are just printed on regular paper.

Yeah, maybe I could use the esc icon for "show desktop"...

Yes and yes! Moogle kit 2, to be precise.
Btw, sorry for the delay with your Fentek keycaps, but they're still in the US! :o

EDIT: I didn't read the question carefully! Actually i printed it black on white! I didn't even know you could print with white ink!

Yes, that's very handy! You can pile up several keycaps in it so you can pull out keycaps much faster than with small keypullers.
