Just a thought,
If
MX grey (tactile) switches have the same slider profile as Clears,
then
Grey slider + Brown spring = Ergo Grey = Ergo Clear without the tight stem issue????
Is anyone able to confirm by physically comparing?
Ergo Greys?

Have thought about that, too. Maybe Cherry uses the same mold for grey stems as for the clear ones and therefore the "tight stem issue" would still persist.

The binding is due to the tactile leaf, isn't it? (I honestly don't know. I haven't tried the mod.) what about a little filing the stem?
