I just installed custom keycaps from Group By 4 (Spherical: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Round4_SPH).
All the keys work fine, except for the space bar. When i press it on the left or right side, it get's stuck! It will then stay permanently down on one side. For now i'm using the original Filco spacebar, but it feels so weird, because it's lower compared to the rest of the keys.
I've tried inserting dampening rings under the switch (and where the stabilizer is), but it doesn't help. Any idea how to fix this? Here's a similar case with a Das Keyboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b64psDiM6Q

Try removing the stab inserts and test.
1) If it does bind there is something wrong with the switch mount.
2) If it doesn't there is probably something wrong with the stabilizer mounts.
2.1) Install one stab, test. If ok install second, test.
2.2) Look for any deformities on the offending post.
3) Snap a photo of offending post and show us!
