Kailh MX browns, apparently. How does it feel and how does it sound? This is (and already was) on my short list.

It would be nice if someone would do a side by side comparison of the KC84 with genuine Cherry mx switches vs Kailh switches of the corresponding type.
I once had a white KC84 with Cherry mx blues. It was fun to type on, and I liked the PBT keycaps, which had a nice pumice-like feel. However, I sold it, because I prefer either a 60% or TKL layout rather than something in between, and I prefer switches other than Cherry mx (such as IBM capacitive buckling spring, Matias Click, or Topre).

keycool made a lot 87-key layout keyboards with kailh switches, guess someone may have had tried already.
Many are sold in China.

This board is excellent and its Kailh brown switches are as good as Cherry MX browns. But I also had one TKL from Keycool with the same Kailh browns that was awful. I think the company lacks consistency and quality control.mech greenhand wrote: ↑keycool made a lot 87-key layout keyboards with kailh switches, guess someone may have had tried already.

EDIT: Forgot to mention: it seems the spacebar on keycools are problematic -- the two KBs I tried, one had warped spacebar that would stick in the downward position (replaced it); the other one was too sensitive, adding spaces at a minor touch.
