I know this is wayyy late  but I've been going through the forums and reading old posts  and I think I found the right crowd for this silliness:

I'd watch the shit out of that show. The Riker haters just haven't paid the least bit of due attention to the man who is clearly the heart of TNG.

The credits could have used a bit of Riker's flamboyant sitting down in a chair technique. If you don't know what I mean, go watch more Trek!

What a coincidence.... earlier today I watched the episode where there are two Rikers.

Apparently Dan Frakes had a bad back, so sitting down the usual way was awkward for him. Being a tall fellow, he had a few tricks besides.

Wonder if those low backed chairs were his idea?

Switching from Debian stable to a rolling-release distribution reminds me of when I first got into keyboards - new packages almost every day!!!

this is stressing me out :x

Relax. You don't have to update every day. ;)

I run an update every Sunday and it worked well for me. (I'm on Arch)

true.. im used to running apt-get update && apt-get upgrade a lot just for security updates on debian.
void tends to update packages pretty often, depending on what i'm installing sometimes i have to update a couple of times per week.

Haha wow, they are really something.
I love how the surfers took their shoes off but the rest of the suit remains
Also, I want a WWW 5 point safety harness that would be so sick!

well, yes, it would be silly to surf in shoes

Every time I surf I wear a suit and tie too (sometimes with a CRT monitor on my head) but not shoes. That would make me look like some kind of loser.

The last picture clearly shows the proper safety precautions when surfing the inet. All that other stuff is way too dangerous. That one guy looks like Cuba Gooding Jr?!?

mr_a500

30 Jun 2015, 14:03

Good thing he has that seatbelt on. Otherwise, his head might smash right through that CRT, in an accident.
