Looking for UK ISO 105 Key set. Something muted like White on Black, Black on Black, Dolch etc. No wild coloured keys. Cherry profile and preferably fairly thick. Also prefer shipping from the UK.

For the R1 Penubra it depends wether its used or not, I would say $280 used $350-400 unused. It should be noted tho there are a handful of crazies out there who may not yet have a R1 Penumbra set who would pay more for it, I am just giving the normal it should sell within the month price.

I did try hacking the front part out of a switch once to see if it were possible to leave the LED in but just bend it out of the way when popping the top off switches - it did work but looked a complete mess... Needless to say I didn't bother putting that switch on a board!

Definitely swap the spring for a less used key. I had a few bent ones in my 122 key, including E whose failure was my excuse to delve deep. Any kink in those old springs means you'll want a replacement. One I swapped those ...

Nut driver arrived today so I've begun the disassembly of my SSK - rather unsurprisingly when I opened it up I found 22 broken rivets and another 9 that broke just by me picking at them! Bearing in mind that there are only 49 in total it's no surprise that it's not working!

I can't seem to unplug ...
