Re: What was/is the worst keyboard/switch you have ever tried?

Worst switch I've ever had the displeasure of typing on was unrestored Siemens ST switches from a teletype module that looked like it was pulled from a landfill. Scratchy, mushy bottom out with a really weird tactile bump (what MX brown would feel like if they were actually full of dirt).

Re: Typewriter Switch Log - with pictures

Got a few things to add to the list if you want 'em:
-Royal alpha 2015 has mitsumi KAM switches with black caps & white letters. The mounts don't fit anything else sadly.
-Panasonic KxE700m has SKCC greens, also black caps with white letters. Mounts also don't fit anything but SKCC

Thank ...

Re: How do I remove Alps SKCC switches?

I'm still not sure what I want to do with the keyboard, although go ahead and PM me and we might be able to work something out. It's only got three of the double-action.

I'm actually quite glad I was able to get the typewriter, as I can now say that SKCC greens are nice, but not my cup of tea ...

Sanyo MBC 550 conversion

I'm about to pick up a Sayno MBC 550, and was wondering if there has been any success converting it to USB using something like a teensy or promicro. It's a beautiful board so I would feel really bad doing a more destructive conversion to it than something like a simple rewire.
