Here's what I can offer. There's one deep dish "F" and a normal one, the "J" has a nubbin on it.The "0" and "numpad del" (yes it has a legend, it's azure on grey and very difficult to see - probably why it was in a grab bag) keys are actually R4, I don't think they usually come as R3. Same for the ...

Hi, I'm new here so I'm not sure I understand how this work.
I found that everything I need is available on the round 6 leftovers page but I'm not sure how to order them.
I tried leaving a message to 7bot but I got no reply.
Am I doing something wrong?

As I understand it the "bot" is a script ...

Look, I'm not implying any malice here; I'm sure the intentions were always good and honourable. But when you use new investments instead of actual profit to pay returns (keycaps in this case), then what you have is, by definition , a Ponzi scheme. In this case it was not the intention , but ...

Also, I think 7bit is arguing that there would be less funds to raise overall if Round 7 can get the green light.

So maybe it is worth making a special effort to do that before cancelling it.

It would be good to understand what it would really take for SP to agree to produce Round 7.

For example ...

Does jumping in before Dec-31st mean that I will pay more first but eventually (like at the end of 2017 or after the production is completed) 7bit will give me back a 25% of what I paid ("25% rebate")?
Or does it mean that I am just paying less (like 25% off from the original price) before Dec-31st ...

This guy is selling 2 "NOS" keyboards marked as TRS-80 replacement keyboards . In actual fact it seems like they are part of a kit copy of the TRS80 called the LNW-80 . PCB is marked "Hi-Tec" and from the look of it could be Hi-Tec linear switches. Pretty cheap in the US, which is not me ...

:o...got some keycaps today:
It's amusing that these keycaps will go from upstate Washington, all the way to Germany, and then all the way back to me in California; a month-long journey (at least) for something that would take 3-4 days if purchased directly from SP.

This is why I don't buy GMK ...

- Paypal transaction fee

Yes, of course. But you may incur extra fees; I expect there would be a fee for each currency conversion performed. So if there is a conversion coming in (e.g., from Euro to $AUS), and a conversion going out (from $AUS to $USD), you get to pay two fees. After all, receiving payment and sending a ...

Yeah Beamspring is loud alright, how many hours did you spend with all this work?

Not that much. I did it over 3 weekends. The biggest timesinks were sanding the plate and other metal parts (by hand), because the rust had gotten into the switch holes and I had to use a dremel type tool to get in ...

IBM 5251 restauration

So I got an IBM 5251 from the infamous rust merchant and it was in pretty poor shape overal. The shell has taken a beating, note the yellow patch at the top left where they've completely removed the painted textured upper layer. The spacebar was rusted in the down postion and wouldn't budge. Keycaps ...

The keyboard appears to be a Cherry G80-1800 with Cherry MX Black switches (not vintage black switches). It is in ANSI layout and has 1u modifiers (not the earlier winkeyless version). The keycaps are thick doubleshot ABS and are in excellent condition.
