Are not both the above posts easy to get ??

I voted for ANSI. I used ISO for a long time but ANSI is simply better and more ergonomic, with easier to reach Enter and left Shift. I highly recommend you folks give ANSI an honest try, you are missing out both in ergonomics and in keyboard selection!

Which leads me to black switches. I will be typing a lot for school, and I have heard nasty rumors about fatigue when typing long things on black switches. But could these anecdotes be over-exaggerated? If I recall, black switches have a similar actuation force as a buckling spring, but you don't ...

Last month I got a Devlin bank note tellers keyboard which has a Poker layout keyboard but in ISO style (i.e. real size transmit key) thick cherry 2shots and brown switches and an alu case.

But its been lost by the post ...gutted.

It was going to need some work as the case had a card reader and ...

I have older versions of all the Tipro software (DOS win9x 2k etc.),
I cant remember the versions off hand but the CD's are from 2001.

That viglen I got has Montereys.
I also dont think my oranges (if they are) are in very good nick because the above post seems to say what I think.
There is loads of side to side and the home row is very different to the F keys,
but its got 2 shots.

The pokers we got in group buy 1 look different from the ones iMav got and the ones poker originally distributed. I don't know why, I never ordered anything different.

Well after quite a few days trying and getting nothing I got to log in first time and post a reply, and even preview the post a few times.
This box had been down and not long back up ...well a quick check says 27 hours.
Lets hope its sorted.

My orange ALPS are are clicky and tactile, not in any way strong, but quite light,

I think I have it sorted.
But TBH I cant say 100% what fixed it, as I have cleared the cache and cookies more times than I can count.

The problem was across quite a few boxes so not down to one browser even though I only really use Firefox/Palemoon (same ish code).
The *nix boxes were just the ...

Today is the first time I have been able to log in and not keep going round in a loop being asked to log in again and again, since ...well when ever I last posted.

But there still seem to be a problem because it will sit there fine, but if I try to post anything as soon as I preview, or submit it ...

English/UK Brown switches

I want to do some more reading up on this as I have been away and only just seen it...
but as I like smaller boards and want another Brown switched board I can see there being a problem

I thought it was more about what does not cause any pain == the best place.

I have always found that my keyboards end up at an angle to the front of the desk.
With the right hand side about twice as far from me as the left,
I always thought that was because I never really move my left hand but do ...

All I can say is that I have never had the problem I read that others do with Cherry blacks,
That said all of mine are older NIB ones.
The only newer black switched one I have used a new'ish board of someone elses and did not like it so much but IMO I thought that was more down to the state of the ...
