This is basically the prototyping approach I was using with my SBS & SCM projects. I see this is an old topic and not sure where it went but the work looks very nice. I plan on making a few full sets of keys using the printed / resin infused method in the upcoming weeks.

The thing I like about the MX style switches is easy prototyping. No need to worry about a mounting plate which is why I haven't built an Alps custom yet as I am still figuring out details on how to design the mounting plates.

It's great for prototyping a shape or for something where appearance is secondary, but for this it's pretty much 100% about aesthetics, and for that filament based 3D printing sucks.
