Anybody here selling a full size ISO clicky keyboard (looking for a more modern keyboard so no model Ms)? Not looking for the cheapest, but ok-ish quality.
EU (or even better Slovenia :D ).
Thanks.

New post [Keyboards] Unknown SMK J-M0404 Board!
Anyway beyond all that the board is near mint and absolutely lovely to use, as quite a pingy ring to it (not unlike that found in an Alps SKCL board) which I quite enjoy

New post [News] Stuff you just bought
Hello,
Since 2019, I have been using with great satisfaction a Realforce R2 PFU Limited Edition Silent Topre 45g color Ivory (R2TLSA-US4-IV) purchased from PFU EMEA Europe.
I like it so much that I decided that I would like to buy another identical one as a spare but sadly I discovered that it is out

New post [Deskthority talk] Future of DT
If you're for real and have a few grand to spare then I'd say go for it, I don't think things can't get any worse short of the site being shut down by the current owners.
Oh and yes, of course this site is worth saving, Together with sharktastica's database and possibly Daniel's and very few others,

New post [Workshop] ARM-based IBM Model M USB controller
Alrighty, let's get back to work!
I just managed (after some hassle) to fire up the virtual machine from which I did QMK forking and chip programming. That's good news. PADAUK programming won't be a problem. An ATTiny chip can be used instead (see those two jumpers by the SOP8?). The PADAUK is just

New post [Keyboards] Mount keyboard directly to tray arm?
Don't worry, I won't desecrate the board. I was looking and the two existing holes would be more than enough to mount it securely, I think.

Actually, if anyone has some extra 2583g they bought I might be interested in it. Why not go for the "good stuff" if I'm doing the work anyway? :)

New post [Keyboards] Buckling Spring PCjr Keyboard
I'd adopt one of the legends or symbols from the Space Cadet keycap markings.
Nice mod! You got a "space saver" keyboard with some old-school technology.

New post [Group buys] Beam Spring 104+SSK Reproduction Project! First Batch In Stock, Shipping early next year after New Model F Project
Not necessarily - as noted on the product pages you would want to check the production keycap photos to see if they cover your desired key arrangement. From what I can see, the sets include the 1U | \, 1U Fn, 1.75U Right Shift, but not a 1.5 backspace, 1.75 Ctrl, or 1.25 caps lock. As noted earlier,

Yes, the keyboard mappings are editable on the Python script, it is not an extremely easy task but some people have made their own custom mappings.

New post [Keyboards] Keyboards are now mainstream and cool?
Nah I'm probably as old as you and custom/specialized keyboards were always cool. In the same way that Zoo York watches and apparel have been cool since the early '90s. You can be "hip" and also be into nice stuff like mechanical watches and mechanical keyboards. Interscope has just found a revenue vector
