I usually post instrumentals. Here's one to compensate: 7 minutes of socially conscious blues:
Ah winter, you strike again.

Everone's posting good stuff for a change. What in the seven circles of hell just happened!

All right, how about this:
The album version has a nice little epic feel to it. And it's free

Alan Broadbent (piano) & Gary Foster (sax). I heard Alan Broadbent play live recently with his band, brilliant jazz.

Fusion stuff from 20 years ago that I recently rediscovered. I like what Chris Poland did after his Megadeth years.

warning... heavy shit ahead :maverick:
this band just completely blows me away as one of the most brutal and sonically intense groups i've ever heard, goofy and mockable name aside. they're also the only metal band that uses a drum machine on their albums that i care about at all. i'm not a big fan of the industrial stuff they've added to their more recent albums but their back catalog is more than enough to satisfy me. the fact that they took their studio project and were able to make it work live is just the icing on the cake. for comparison, here is the studio version with programmed drums:

i've also been listening to a lot of jungbluth:
as well as their older band alpinist:

No warning here; just some R&B a cappella laid over a broken beat. Turn it up, nod your head and enjoy!

Discovered not long ago chiptune music - a little bit different to 8-bit music / category which is quite popular.

Abit of Morricone, just to refresh the memory.

Fits winter in the UK perfectly. In fact, the whole album does.

Enough with the slow and chill music!
(That's just a promo upload though, it doesn't start like that and is ~6min long :D)

EDIT: Found a full upload on the official Black Sun Empire Soundclound: https://soundcloud.com/blacksunempire/b ... f-mind-ego

Interestingly, it's similar to Indo - Love Will Be… [Dillinja remix].
