:) The unicorn vomit caps don't do much for me but the keyboard case looks very nice and minimal.
Looking forward to it!

Which will I get my hands on first: this keyboard or my big box of Round 5 caps to put on it?

Looks like you guys just won yourself some previously unreachable customers here at DT. Well done!

I just hope they're something that works well with Signature Plastics SA caps, because if I get one of these, it's wearing those. My own home made HiPro!

There's two lines of interest here. People like me who want their first Topre switch board to be MX. And people like Matt who want to harvest the stems (and stabs?) to convert their Realforces and HHKBs!

So basically this is a Topre board on which you can also fit Cherry key caps? Am I understanding this correctly? Or is it the other way around, Cherry switches with Topre cap compatibility?

As the red keycaps laying around the keyboard are presumably Tai Hao Doubleshots and on one picture the right shift is mounted --> Chances are high that Cherry stabilisers are used???

Hope so!

I'm highly interested in whether this keyboard can take SA profile caps, like these:

So long as the custom Topre stems have enough room for these MX mounts, right?

(The huge mounts are actually Honeywell caps, that's another story…)

Round 5 means I'm not alone in my interest for this question!

I'd pay £300 for this, lol. Hopefully a more reasonable price will be presented, though. Knowing CM Storm I don't think that will be an issue.

Don't be saying that, you fool! CM might get ideas. I would pay up to $50 for this board.

Yeh, I'd pay 30$ for a second HHKB as well. xD

Seriously though, that CM looks very interesting. Probably the first CM board I might be interested in.

Here's something I found in the meantime. This was posted late last year on another pcwaishe thread. Interesting to note the backlit key in the top right. I have to wonder if there's a Cherry switch under there or a Topre one...I've only ever seen the Topre LED switch in the top-right corner, although I guess it could be in any corner, but the image looks pretty evenly lit (edit: actually on second inspection...not really). Also detachable cable (yay?!), although this *is* just a production sample so who knows what the final board will have.

they really hate stabilizers at CM! remove that backspace caps FFS!

PS: nice catch 002, thanks for sharing
PPS: Image can't help but think of this, 002 :P

Haha admittedly had to google who he was (Cyborg 002 from Cyborg 009), nonetheless, I like the cut of his jib :)
Btw -- I'll see if I can find how the stabilisers work, although we'll probably know the answer before I get a response.
