Hi everyone. I've been lurking for some months now and finally decided to introduce myself.
I'm a newbie at this hobby (only started collecting since last January).
Some of my boards:

Model M (currently using):

American Research Corporation KB20221793 White Alps (I think clone) very loud and clicky. I love this one:

Another Model M waiting for a bolt mod:

A crappy Cherry G81-3000. Keycaps currenly drying, very sharp doubleshots:

I also have an Acer6312 at work.

Now for the questions:
1. Should I pay 45€(shipping included) for a Commodore Vic 20? I know it has linear switches but I don't know how to hook it to a pc.
2. What is a good lubricant for the Cherry My switches? They feel super heavy at the bottom and I want them to be a little more smooth.

2. Don't bother lubing it, doubt it'll change much. If you want to achieve a noticeable change, you'll need to remove the springs. Don't know if it's worth the hassle though.

I've read in GH that you can make them super light by removing the springs (lighter than red Cherrys!!!), but i feel like i wouldn't like it bc being used to type in the Model M and the white alps

Yes,45€ with shipping for Commodore Vic 20 is cheap. I hope to see what switch it has.
