According to the seller, its a old cherry G80-3000 with vintage blacks, double-shot ABS and made in West Germany (suggesting that its one of the earliest G80-3000 produced).

I don't really know how much those are worth/how rare they are, but since i don't really feel like buying more keyboards right now and his starting bid being ~25$(a bit high for my taste), should i bid anyway?

Nordic layout Cherry keycaps are quite rare, the shine on these seems to be ok. I think a good price for them would be anything below 50-70$.

Ask for a photo of the sticker on the back to see the manufacture year and serial number.

Anyway, since this has a nordic (swedish?) layout and the caps seem not too shiny, $25 is quite a fair price IMHO (as nuum said).

Nuum nailed it; €50-€70 is a good price for what is quite a nice board wtih a not particularly common set of caps. If you're a Nordic ISO user snap it up, I'm not sure you'll see too many more sets like it.

Nice find. The layout is German but is Very very close to Swedish layout. Basically the only difference is that Z and Y switch places.

HAD would suggest DE (QWERTZ), wouldn't it? Maybe FrankenSWE?

I believe you are mistaking the O for a D, HAO stands for Swedish/Finnish ISO.

Nice find!

Can't be many of those floating around. I'd say grab it, if only for the keycaps!

Seller even references the Deskthority wiki for more info. Here's the link btw. Someone from here?

that´s a decent price for a board. I would not spend much more though!

As scarce as they are in Sweden and Finland, you should get it for yourself when the chance comes along. If you're not interested in keeping it... you should grab it anyway and flip it to an international collector where this layout is near impossible to get a hold of. Not only is it a hard to find layout, it is older production run which is also a desirable trait. Some collectors will pay very high prices so you can make a nice profit.

Swedish keycaps are quite rare, and they don't look yellowed ... I'm angry that I did not see it first. ;)
Let's see how high the bids go now that more people have seen it ...

Yea, it ultimately went up a bit to much for me to want it anymore.
Congratulations by the way.

I saw that auction too and placed a bid. However didn't want to pay too much as I'm more into Alps now than Cherry MX. And besides I strongly dislike black Cherry switches and that made me not go too far in the auction. It it would have had blue switches I would go far longer with my bid.

Yesterday I also saw an action on that site with mixed keyboards in it sold as-is. There were two Model M in the pile and also a Model M2 in the back of the picture. Will be interesting to see how much that auction ends in. I'm personally not interested.

I was bidding on that cherry aswell but tlt was willing to pay more. :D
I'm going for that auction your mentioning now. You have to collect the items(he will not ship it) and its in my part of sthlm. Tyvar from sweclockers and geekhack seems interested as well. May the bidding war begin!
