Hello, I am looking for an IBM model M.
There are hard to find in a Spanish layout so, my question (hope you guys can help me) is:
I am a OSX user. Could I purchase a modem m with a french/german layout and then, in preferences- keyboard, just select qwerty layout, and physically change the key caps into qwerty?
Thanks in advance
Layout Change.

Sorry if I'm a bit new to this (especially macos) but I tink OS remapping is quite a common option so with proper caps you could do whatever you want with kb's..
btw I've an M (belgium one ) so you have to find special spanish ones by yourself... if you're interested.

Yup. You can even move the caps freely around the keyboard, as IBM caps are the same shape on every row, unlike Cherry, Topre and almost everyone else. Model Ms work great with OS X:
So long as you convert it to USB of course.
