Price 160 usd+shipping

supplier raised the cost. :<
Interested in one. Can you say anything about the condition in which they are? Like new, scratched, cracked, all key caps complete and from the same batch etc? Or is it like a box of chocolates - you never know what's inside.

Okay guys. Just got a price quote of industrial ssk from my source, 410 USD. :?

Posted: 04 Nov 2013, 12:30
by Muirium
Your source has done his research! I definitely can't handle that, but if anyone wants to put their money where their industrial mouth is, four hundred is the going rate for a Webwit special SSK.

The Industrial SSK list sounds like an expensive line to stand in. You're right up there with Webwit when you go after those.
I'm always on the top of the line(only if the price is reasonable :?).

GeorgeK wrote:I wouldn't mind some tracking info too :)
I'll pm you the tracking num when I backed home. Now, enjoy these. SFW. :?

Actually, I misread your post, that was the price for the last SSK. Consider me interested in a Kishaver then!

Is there already a converter for it? If not, I hope somebody like hasu buys/gets one of these :D

Oooh - mine's in the UK - now waiting on customs to get their a$$es in gear and process it for delivery to me :D

Same here. My SSK must have come on an SST, the long haul was so fast. Now it's just down to some bloke in England somewhere to shrug and send it on its way.

Usually Heathrow (HWDC) is where stuff resides before it makes its way on to people :)

Time to hammer F5 to see the progress

Interested in a Kishsaver (6019284)!

Posted: 05 Nov 2013, 14:01
by Soarer
How much for 1 of each? Interested in a 6019284 and a 6019273.

There's no joy converting these; they will require either a reprogrammed CPU (plus converter), or a complete controller replacement.

Posted: 05 Nov 2013, 14:03
by webwit
Pah, what do you know.

Wait.

Posted: 05 Nov 2013, 14:07
by Muirium
I heard there's a replacement Model F controller project in progress, so fingers crossed. And if Soarer gets one, the chances start looking good that Kishsaver support will be coming to a certain converter in good time!

60% + Model F = absurdly good! Now no one go posting porn of an industrial version of theseā€¦

webwit wrote:Pah, what do you know.

Wait.
Just telling it like it is! They don't send release codes, for all except two keys.

Anyone wanting to actually use these would need to be prepared to desolder either the CPU or the ribbon cable, and then either program an 8048 or build a controller. Not difficult, for those with the skills :evilgeek:

I'd rather see them go to people who might use them, but I know my words will make little difference to the hoarders
