Guys i missed the post office yesterday, i will send out tomorrow as i have a 1/2 day in work. Sorry for the delay

This also means that if you have not paid yet or paid late last night you will still be in the first batch to get sent out :). Its better for me too as one visit to the post office is better

Sorry guys

Well I got the right balls in mine.

USB one works perfect, but for some reason the PS/2 one doesn't; might be my PS/2 port (never used it before), but I will have to try out with another mouse and I am going to buy an adapter.

Do you have only one PS/2 port?
Is it a recent MB?

Posted: 16 Mar 2015, 16:18
by Stabilized
Yup only one port on my motherboard, and it's pretty modern (Gigabyte B75M-D3P).

It has two colours on it though (green/purple), so I assume it should work with mice?

Plugging it in with the power on is the other classic, PS/2 doesn't like hotswapping.

I made sure to power off my computer first, and I also unplugged all other mice (says to do this in the CST instructions). Even went looking around my BIOS settings to see if there was an option there; nothing...

i tested them all and they where all working when i sent them out .

Try it on another computer, i tested it on an old Desktop EN

EDIT. if it still does not work with and adapter i can refund your £9 or you can send it back and i can see if i can fix it

Probably my computer to be honest, I will let you know though and thanks for the offer ;)

I did open them to clean the bearings, i think i tested them after i did this in fact i am sure i did but it may be worth checking the connector has not worked its way loose.

I don't have a PS2 one to compare it as i kept the RS232 one, if you scroll up you can see images of the RS 232 and USB ones

Long shot, but try to enable "Port 60/64 Emulation" in BIOS, it might help. It shouldn't but it might!

Could be a power problem. I learned with my Model F AT that the PS/2 port on my mainboard (Asrock H77 Pro4 MVP) doesn't deliver enough power to drive the board. A Blue Cube USB to PS/2 converter solved the problem, but I don't know if it works with mice.

It does not.

This is what i used on my RS232 one. RS232 > PS2 > USB

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lindy-42866-USB ... ps2+to+USB

have both the trackball and my SSK on it and its works fine
