For payments now you will pay only the keys, shipping later. Payment has to be done by PayPal. To order please post your name below and how many sets you want. You will later be contacted to fill out a form with additional information.

Additional Information
We have a total of 300 sets ordered, I have about 30 available for international distribution. First come first serve. Orders will close on Sunday Night (26.06.2011) The keys will go into production after that. Then there is shipping, sorting, distribution. Expect the keycaps around October to be safe (possibly earlier).

I don't know why this side of the group buy is so relaxed and slow but people over at OTD already have set a payment deadline which is today. It seems OTD is always more organized and speedy. Can't we do the same? ;)

Several reasons.

1) 100% of the pre-payment is coming from Korea and Uranium. This way the English side ends up with whatever is left over. This is why we first have to take in consideration how much demand there will be on OTD and post the group buy here after.

2) OTD has a fully automatic custom group order system that handles orders and payments. We do not. Group orders here work by me typing shit into a spreadsheet and then sending out e-mails and invoices manually.

That should explain everything. So no, unless you write a custom group order system that will work with phpBB, for now we can not do the same.

Compared with err..., other group buys, this is not slow at all!

If you add the actual content to your e-mail notifications, at least a half-ways automated system would be easily possible, BTW.

ps: What does the experimental kit look like?
