Hey guys,

webwit has been a busy beav-... duck. The Marketplace forum now has a new auto-cleanup feature. The idea is that we want the tabs to accurately reflect the status of the threads in them. This helps everyone because it should mean less dud posts asking if something is still available, and it means less maintenance with manually moving inactive threads.

How it works:
If your thread resides in the 'For sale', 'Want to buy' or 'Want to trade' tab, it will automatically be moved to the equivalent strike-through tab if it has had no activity in the last 30 days. This means that there may be instances where your thread has been moved even though your sale/wanted/trade has not been completed. If this is the case, do not panic. You can have your thread moved back to the appropriate section by doing the following:

1. Edit the original post and reset the 'Category' field to the desired section.
2. Bump the thread using the hammer icon Image or by posting a reply.

Step 2 is important, because threads are checked once every 24 hours and if there are no replies, it will be marked for cleanup and moved again. Keep this in mind when moving your thread as it will likely mean it's not going to move immediately. This setting can be changed to poll more frequently if required.

Any questions or concerns, post them here.
