@7bit no way.

The board contains 152 brand new Cherry MX Brown switches.
The price for a switch is 0,65€!?

Only the switches would cost 98,80€.
I think the price for the devlin is very fair.

price reduced for Wyse Board.
Right shift of Devlin is a normal 2,75 with normal compatilbe mountpoints (I compread it to a ISO G80-1000 HFD Cherry Shift)

I've got enough browns left, so I take it without switches for 51.20 EUR.

How do I find out certain? Macro shot of a switch?

As far as I know there are two kinds of vintage blacks. The ones with a clear top shell. And, um, the other one. Only the clear shell ones feel super smooth (I've used both) while the normal looking version is simply a bit lighter than modern blacks.

The top of the Wyse switches are black.

To be honest, I've no idea, especially after reading this thread. In theory, they should have the old style of logos, but it isn't a definitive indicator at all.

Do they feel smoother compared to modern blacks?

no one would like to have the Wyse in good condition?

Devlin board is a real good offer, so many nice keycaps, and the brown switches...

What's wrong?

if someone knows a way to find out for sure if the wise has vintage blacks i would be interested

to be fair they don't have to be true vintage backs as long as they don't have the scratchyness of the modern blacks /reds

If the board is made before 1994 you have vintage blacks. Even if those are not vintage they are for sure old blacks and that means nice and soft.

as long as its smooth action i dont mind :) i have some lighter than red custom springs for them

that wyse looks like it was 1990 ? if so i am interested

( need to get me a hakko 808 ripoff to suck out all them switches :P)
