Apple IIc: unknown latching switches

Following a PDF that jacobolus used as a reference on the wiki, I asked its author, Ken Buchholz (the same chap who I bought my amber Alps switches from), if I could have and use the images from it.

He took some fresh photos of what should be the same keyboard, but isn't. What's puzzling is these switches at the top:

The IIc uses three latching switches. On this keyboard, the 80/40 and Keyboard switches are of the unknown type, while caps lock is [wiki]Alps SKFL Lock[/wiki] as expected!

The keyboard is also missing its Atlanta Photocircuits branding, so it's not clear who actually made it; it's only branded Apple.

Here's some close-up shots of the switch that Ken took:

It's similar to Alps SKFL, and similar to the NEC switch that copied SKFL, but it's not the same as either. In particular, unlike SKFL, it's plate mount (though not on this keyboard). It's also a different design to SKFL Lock. Most notably, the metal lid is completely unbranded.

It looks kind of familiar, but I don't know what it is. Any ideas?

As a note, it's not Alps mount. The keycap used with the mystery switch:

Does anyone know if the rest of the keyswitches on that board are MX-mount-keycap-compatible?

If I recall correctly, they're not quite MX compatible, MX caps are a bit too loose.

Ken makes the cross 5 mm by 5 mm with arms 1.3 mm. Cherry MX has a cross roughly 4 mm across.

They're very similar in dimensions. Nothing a chisel won't take care of …

Hmm, maybe I was thinking the wrong direction. I'll grab a hairpin spring //c keyboard and a MX board from my storage unit tonight.
