Some days ago I visited the teknisk museum at Dansk.
http://www.tekniskmuseum.dk/
And I spotted some pretty nice keyboards.
A IBM Displaywriter Keyboard (Beamspring) with danish layout.
Sorry that the photos aren't that good, because the keyboard was located on a big wardrobe and it wasn't easy to reach it.
Interesting keycap legends, (slut xxx)
It was the first beam spring that I had ever seen in reallife, here a video of me typing on the keyboard.
Two display cases with keyboards and portable computers.
From right to left.
Siemens Simatic S5 PG 675 - programmable logic controller

Regnecentralen RC-702
Regnecentralen RC-721 (keyboard)

The second display case.
A IBM Portable Computer (Model F) Keyboard
Interesting keycap scheme, looks a bit like dolch.
A IBM Model F XT.
A video of me typing on the model F XT.
It was the first time ever I tried a buckling spring keyboard, now I want one.

That Slut key is now the best cap I have ever seen. It's even beamspring mount, the supreme!
How did you find the comparison of beamspring and Model F buckling spring? In feel especially, rather than layout.

Nice. I wish I had a museum here where I could try Beamspring! The keycaps on that Regnecentralen RC-702! The supreme "slut" key? Looks like that slut needs a good cleaning!

It was just a short impression and also I don't realized in the moment as I type on it that the keyboard had a beamspring mechanism, so it isn't easy for me to compare.Muirium wrote: ↑That Slut key is now the best cap I have ever seen. It's even beamspring mount, the supreme!

My impression is that the beamspring keys had a long travel and then a deep click.
I really like it, I don't like really heavy linear switches, but I like heavy clicky switches.
The model F had a another feeling, a shorter way of travel and a metallic click.
Also a spring that you can hear.
I like booth, but the "bottom out click" from the beam spring is really satisfying.

In Sweden, you can sometimes see "Slut-Rea" signs in shop windows. Not so proper announcing that girl's promiscuity
(It means "clearance sale". "Rea" is short for "realization", an economic term for transformation of assets into cash.)
"Slut" can also mean "sold out". There is also "Slutspurt" (final sprint) and "Slutstation" (end of the line).
A Danish street sign that I find particularly funny is "Hund i snor", which reads as "Dog in snot" in Swedish but which really means "Dogs must be leashed".

Interesting. I hope to go the computer museum, but Hong Kong doesn't exit this.

I never thought that I would se a beam spring with danish keys - fantastic. But I have given up finding one for my self. Just the task to find an IBM Model M in Denmark for sale is bit difficult. (Okay, I have several now)
