Are those vintage DSA on the Epson HX 20? :o
at this point all of my searching is manual as it's not hard to sift through the entries.

Oh, I so do want it. Hope their won't be too much auctions. I'm dying to get a fairly priced XT with US caps as their seams to be none in Europe.

Side note question: Does the 2 pieces caps from a model M fits on XT / Bigfoot. Thinking about a DIY model F

Here's a pretty good deal on a Topre 89S 10th Anniversary board (30g uniform) with Diatec metal case for 16000 yen:

neat! i have one of those cases but it doesn't have the winkey (or i suppose jpn layout equivalent) blocks like that one :)

The case is really cool, and I imagine you could just Dremel out the blockers if you wanted to use it on ANSI/ISO layouts?

God, it's so tempting even though I don't have the cash to spare at the moment...

So what would be the best way to proxy something like this to the EU? I know of http://buyee.jp/, are they the best option?

To my knowledge they do. Good luck with bidding!

Thanks. I've asked the seller if it is possible to send it to France, since it USA delivery only at the moment. Waiting for the answer.

Honestly, I only need the plate and the innards of an F (could it be XT, Bigfoot, etc.). So I don't see myself spending too much money on it, especially if I have to add $50+ for shipment

EDIT: Maybe I should just buy a bigfoot and an M from Cindy and combine shipping. Then I could build a 60% keyboard and a trackball with a dozen of "function buttons" (like the spacemouses) with capacitive buckling spring from the 2 keyboards.

not me, although I was thinking about it. I know Ascaii was looking at it too. I'd really like to know what kind of switches are in there.
it got here yesterday, looks to be aan early keytronic foam and foil :(

Anything interesting re: switches, etc?

Keytronic butterfly switches, creatively wired, but of zero interest to me :/

Everybody here hates foam and foil so much. It is still an inherently capacitive design with what I think some great hacking potential. Replacing the foam with a little spring would make for a very nice little switch I think.

GuilleAcoustic - nothing is for sale yet but I have all of Cindy's remaining Ms and Bigfoots. I will gladly combine shipping and ship to France when the time comes.

I might be interested in a Bigfoot as well!

Please get lots of photos before you pass it on! I am tempted but shipping to the US is really expensive. PM me if you want to send it my way.

I have a few keyboards without cases (some Hall Effect) and I want to build some nice hardwood cases for them.

In for one bigfoot in France too ! Even in bad condition if it is not too expensive.

There are 2 Bigfoots (Bigfeet) on ebay right now, from the same seller in Cyprus island :

http://www.ebay.fr/itm/151652283613?ssP ... 1423.l2649
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/400905430806?ssP ... 1423.l2649

They are on my follow list, but I'd prefer to buy from Cindy to support everything she does for us on DT. I'm really not in a hurry and even bad condition is fine with me, as long as the barrel, flippers and spring are nice :D

The keyboard arrived today. I don't know what kind of switches it has, since they are covered with a protective rubber mat. I'll have to open the keyboard to look into that, but it has many many screws and I don't have time right now. The keycaps are nice thick MX-compatible doubleshot keycaps, but definitely not the Devlin kind I know and have around.
The keyboard itself is really heavy and looks awesome, I'll post pictures and add it to the wiki once I got the time.

The attachment preh_commander.JPG is no longer available
(Now that I have "enough" keyboards I expect to do much less buying and much more sharing of neat finds. I have - seriously - about 40 eBay saved searches chugging along in the background.)
guk wrote: Pretty sure that preh is identical to a keyboard Nuum described as a terribly mushy rubberdome.
I just saw your posts and yes, it looks very similar to a Espera ESE 22 keyboard I own, but mine has an additional display, and indeed it has "terribly mushy rubberdome".
Here is a bad photo of it:
