Just need to find £50 from somewhere now...

edit - I'm stepping aside, I need an SSD more than I need a new ergo board at this point.

listed as used, but the description says broken.
Maybe still interesting if someone wants to build Hasu's 60% and doesn't care about shiny caps…

on another note: what is this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Old-Style-Compu ... 4ae50f591d ?
nonstandard ISO built in Mexico, no FCC compliance mentioned but german TÜV… Without a pounds symbol it also wasn't made for the british market, was it?
probably from 91 as I guess 9116 as the datecode

It's a Memorex Telex 122 key. Should be NMB Hi-Tek Clicky black.

Based on the recessed back and "Assembled in Mexico", not likely to be Hi-Tek. Probably rubber dome.

The article number also resembles the ones used by maxi switch http://deskthority.net/wiki/Maxi_Switch

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271918672210 SSK 100$ bin

Ok, not anymore I guess. Better bid 25$ when it's cheap already. :?

I see no buy it now. But the current $25 bid makes me smile. I got a grey label SSK for that!

:x

Really.. Who does this? There's a $100 BIN and you go and bid on it? Do you really think you're going to get it for under $100 in an auction?

Come on guys.. be smart about it.

Had a bin option, and 100$ would've been quite the steal as you well know. :P

If someone from here placed that bid, consider retracting the bid and buy it for the bin price.

Huh, I thought SSKs all came with the same label.

EDIT: I just found out! Grey, Blue, Black (Industrial)

Yup. I've got a blue and a couple of greys. The industrial remains for pillage another day.

Did you get it? I hope you did. I considered bidding on it and backed out.

I *am* bidding on the aforementioned TI board through Goodwill Austin. Please don't bid against me. ;-)

I did get it at $21! I did notice someone had backed out (I'd been watching the auction for the last few days). Course with charging only $10 shipping they might only be getting half that. :)

Good luck! I look forward to seeing some better pictures of that board.

By backed out, I mean I cancelled my snipe. I didn't bid at all!

Hah, oh well thank you then! Yesterday someone also put in a $30 bid and then removed it, thought that was you!

This is why I like Yahoo Auction's format of leaving the BIN option on even after bids are placed. Can you even do that with eBay?

Note that only one of those SGIs is the desirable Alps version! The other is a boring dome board. :)

Japanese board with Linear Green Alps, AFAIK. Lovely keycaps. They have the cruciform stem.
