I cannot supply a real picture, but i can mspaint and describe it.

As you can see it looks like an extended 2 but its not. The switches are similar to alps but are just plastic atop a dome like topre. It is an apple from i think 1998.

Are you perhaps thinking of the AppleDesign keyboard?

Personally I already knew that keyboard but now I have a question out of curiosity.
Does those keycaps fit alps switches? I think I have 1 or 2 sets from similar keyboards.

Are you sure? I've also done some research and found anyone saying they are compatible. Also, looking at the photos of the apls keycaps and our slider ones, they look like not compatible...

According to Apple Rescue of Denver, there was indeed an [wiki]Alps dome with slider[/wiki] version:

Alps definitely did make the switch cinnamonrollz describes.

If I remember correctly from what I've seen, the NMB slider looks a lot like an Alps switch if you're not an expert (like me), the Alps slider looks circular and doesn't look like an Alps switch; but the keycaps of the first one are not compatible with Alps and the second ones are compatible.

The Alps dome with slider version:

This is different from the other Alps version that doesn't use sliders.

Even in mint condition, you're probably looking at somewhere around $30 - $40. They don't sell very well on eBay.

I recommend just selling the keycaps separately to someone on Deskthority/Geekhack, to save on shipping. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of cheap Apple Alps keyboards on eBay, so you still won’t get a very good price. But someone might like the Apple keycap style and not want to use some on a more modern keyboard without the sideways-mounted F-key row.
