My dad got onto my computer and acedentally bought a model m terminal keyboard (one with the rj45 plug) I asked on ocn but didnt get many answers. My question is how can I use this keyboard? Model 1395162 and I spent $20.

You came to the right place. Search for Soarer's XT/AT adapter. You'll need to buy a teensy microcontroller and play with some wires. A ps/2 cable from another keyboard will come in handy - anyway the search results should be enough to go on.

For fuck’s sake. You’ve already posted another, unhelpfully titled thread asking basically the exact same thing. Do you *really* need two threads on the same topic? And would it kill you to do a little searching first?

Plus there was an excellent answer in that thread including wikipedia links and everything. If there was something unclear about that answer please post a follow-up question, don't just ask again. It's rude to the guy who put the effort into writing that answer. :)

get a standard Model M and keep the terminal board as a parts donor. it won't cost much more than the Teensy.

if you get into Ms, you will need extra parts from time to time.

you can also paint the case and dye the keys for a custom look, and put it back to original whenever you want. (some terminal boards lack holes for the LEDs unfortunately, but could easily be drilled)
