Jim finally got back to you? Maybe Unicomp people were taking a few extra days off following the 4th of July long weekend?

I got my re-delivery from Gilgam: a cool blank black keyset (keys are all one piece) that's already on my real industrial (the one Ascaii sent me) and a NOS industrial case.
Two keycaps broke during the transport but they're regular keys, not modifiers or anything so it's no big deal because I've got "Geek Hack" keys to fill the gap : )

This is off topic, but HELP!
I just got some parts to replace the insides of my old 122 key model M with new membranes. How on earth do the new controllers interface with the membranes?! I assume that the usb connector pins are labeled J21 or J17 on the printed circuit board controller as these are the only ones with four pins. Which one is the connector for the USB cable? Can you put up some pics of these parts or give me a description of how the stock interface is set up? There is a strange white goo on the PCB covered with what looks like orange scotch tape. Do the membranes just press up against the PCB contacts?

Start a new thread instead of necrobumping and being off-topic. It will help the right people to see your posts.

Ok. I will start a new thread, and I will email Jim.
Damnit Jim! I am a comp sci major, not an electronics repair man.
