We you pay VAT on anything over 15 GBP... Maybe an email to the seller would change the marked up value of the shipment....

Bloody hell, look at that price.

Gotcha longweight
I know fossala, I may drop keyboardco a line and see if they plan on stocking them. They are down to 4 remaining UK tkl boards so there's a chance I guess.
I love you and hate you 002! I have to get one now don't I...

...phoned keyboardco... they are going to ask Bruce if it's possible when he's back from holiday. Not getting my hopes up as I guess it would be quite expensive to get another shipment in for little old me.

You could always go HHKB? Where in the UK are you?
Mmmmmm!

I'm looking at those pictures and all I can think is "I wish my lawn looked as nice as that".
The board isn't too bad either

How to explain to my other half that I need a hhkb silent to photo on the back garden grass without getting a divorse?

Why is the KB pink?
Hey, I found my ideal keyboard.
White and all 45g.
This:
http://www.elitekeyboards.com/products. ... =rf_se0900
279$+50$ shipping to Germany= 330 $
330$ ~ 270€
270€*1,19=
320€ (added the import VAT of 19%)
I'd like it to be less expensive.
@dirge
Did you ask about a white version with all 45g? or what?

If you can put up with ISO german and black this is way cheaper.

The picture was taken at sunset so you have a pinky hue to it.

@longweight
ah, ok
@fosalla
yeah, I'v seen it. The only concern I have with that version is the black on black.
I'd like the white better I guess.
But I will see, when I get this Topre 104, thankfully it is white, so I not only can try a complete topre, but also can compare it with the impressions from the black WASD cluster from Mr. Interface.
At least the black 88UB 45g is 50€ cheaper with shipping. ~270€

Yes, he said the boss is on holiday and he'll ask when he gets back. Said they'd drop me an email.
@fossala, they've got the UK one in 45g in black, I'm being difficult and wanting a white version, just because 002's is that nice! and not a fan of black keyboards, show the dust too much.
It's can't be too impossible, I mean the case is the same for all regions so they'd just need to print the caps.

I agree, much prefer white keyboards. Luckily the Type-S only comes in white.

I'm loving the board, but I'm going to have to put it away very soon as I need to get it packed up ready for shipping tomorrow. :'(
I think I'd try uniform 45g next. And as that's the only UK option that's good

My jobs uncertain at the moment about to be restructured and my car just died and isn't cost effective to repair, so... not straight away lol.
But if the job thing turns out bad I'll go contracting and will be able to claim the VAT back on the board at least
But I do want one

Start working for yourself part-time anyways. Creates a lot of possibilities ( like claiming back VAT )

longweight: I thought you were already using a HHKB?
Thanks dirge, hopefully it will be waiting for me at the office when I get to work on Monday. I'll be requesting the address of the next keyboard lover later next week.

I am at one office but I have another which has a Poker with blues, not liking it that much after using the HHKB for so long.
