Hopefully an easy question.
So, I was able to obtain a Canon AP 350 typewriter. It's the first keyboard I've had with green Alps SKCC switches (and also SKCCKB double-action switches). They clip onto the mounting plate. How do you "un-clip" them? I tried a couple approaches and they didn't work. And Googling mainly tells me different ways of disassembling SKCC switches, which isn't helpful. Well, not at the moment, at least.
Thanks for looking!
How do I remove Alps SKCC switches?

if they're close to the edge of the you can try wedging a small flat head screwdriver under a switch while using tweezers to squeeze the clips and hope it'll work out
best bet unfortunately is to just desolder all of them and unclip them once the PCB isn't in the way. (and if you don't want the double action switches LMK, I need a bunch of them)

I'm still not sure what I want to do with the keyboard, although go ahead and PM me and we might be able to work something out. It's only got three of the double-action.
I'm actually quite glad I was able to get the typewriter, as I can now say that SKCC greens are nice, but not my cup of tea. Spherical double-shots, though. I want to grab some cleaning wax and go to town.

I got one out and didn't destroy it!
* Desolder with a good solder sucker
* Press in one of the tabs on the sides of the SKCC
* While still pressing in on the tab, press the PCB up
* Pop out the switch

I initially waxed the key caps. That didn't work as well as hoped, as the typing surface of the caps are still rough and grabby, like brand new. I ultrasoniced the caps and polished with Novus plastic polish and used that. Worked pretty well!

And the double action switches have four pins. One set of two is wider than the other set. They also don't seem to "lock" like the SKCC greens.
