The Microweb Touch-1 is a compact layout AT keyboard with plate mounted Futaba clicky switches. The keyboard has double-shot ABS keycaps. It has only been found with an combination of big-ass enter ANSI layout and slightly different German layout keycaps, which suggests there was both a QWERTY ANSI layout and a QWERTZ layout.

Internals

The PCB seems to have a small correction made after the production of the PCBs. There is also a thing under the tab-key, which is speculated to be a jumper to switch to the XT-protocol.[1] It has a pencil tray above the F1-F10 keys and hole on the left side of the tab-key and on the right side of the '9'-key on the numpad.

Layout

The Microweb Touch-1 has a compact layout with most of the keys that are found on full-size keyboards. Notable exceptions are the absence of a F11 and F12 key, windows key, and the home, end, page up and page down keys. The inverse 'T' arrow cluster is placed above the backspace key together with the delete and insert keys, to save horizontal space on the keyboard. The '+' and '-' keys are moved to the right of the space bar. The control key is placed left of the 'a' key and the caps lock key is placed left to the space bar.

Keycaps

The keycaps are double-shot ABS with an inverse cross mount. The keycaps are coloured in a white-gray color-scheme. The backspace and right-arrow key are exactly the same, possibly to save money in the keycap production.
