[F̶S̶] [FS] Wood Key Cap Pullers and Sleeved USB cables

Note: I recently came into some MDPC-X sleeving. It wasn't in lengths divisible by 6', so I decided to use it in the length it was, hence the cables in unusual length.

I've been experimenting with making my own key cap pullers. I've wanted a wood puller for a while, so I've turned a few for myself and a few that I'm going to sell off to help me continue my experiments with keyboards and key cap making and so I can continue posting the info from my experiments. So far I have a couple completed and I should have a few more done in the near future. So without further ado:

New key cap pullers inbound. I got some canary wood and some mystery wood that I've done some turns with. I'll be putting all the turns I have up for sale and making them as they're ordered since the wire is quite costly.

For Sale or Trade

- Bloodwood key cap pullers (more info on Bloodwood). These are handmade and tested to make sure they'll hold up. The wire is springy and flexible like any other wire key cap puller. Just slide the wires over the cap, twist it to the side to catch the corners of the cap, and rock it back and forth to carefully pull the cap off like you would with any other wire key cap puller. Bloodwood is a resilient, dense, and very hard wood. Asking $35+ shipping for each of them.

It looks like I should be able to ship it for $12-15 First Class International (more for a tracked package), depending on the final weight once it's all packed. I'll also be making some custom sleeved USB cables like these once the last of my parts arrive for it if you want to make the shipping a little more worthwhile.

Hello Uncle 'nubbinator' !
This is your long-time-no-see Danish nephew speaking -
Hope you will remember my upcoming birthday and present me a couple, as a gift ?

If you are short on cash.. I could send you a few bucks to cover the price of buying wood ??

I think many ppl would like something more classic like this https://www.originativeco.com/sites/def ... 7A2961.JPG (you could add something similar as low budget option ;) )

Be sure to tell us once you have more pullers for sale. I'd keep them in a separate thread of their own, though. Quite confusing to come here (from the picture thread) and find water cooling gear and no more pullers!

I went ahead and turned some more "simple" ones including one like that, but it won't be any cheaper. If anything, a design like that is more difficult to make.

Haha, forgot to amend the title. I do have more on the way, though I'm planning on posting some handles and letting a couple people choose what ones they want since I only have enough wire for three or four more right now. Since the wire is a little pricey, I have to wait to sell a couple before I can buy more.

I need to get an exact weight, but it's $8 via USP for 8 ounces to the Netherlands. It might be a little less, but I doubt it will be more.

Got a scale, so I can now tell you exactly what the cheapest shipping price should be to the US or the world.

You have wood cap pullers? You don't? Colour me confused. (New puller specific thread, please!) Also: what's shipping like for Europe?

Well, I usually change the title when I add them or sell them.

Shipping to Europe depends on which one you're interested in. Bloodwood is incredibly dense and heavy wood, so there can be enough of a weight difference for shipping to be different. It should be in the $7-10 range, maybe cheaper for some of the lighter woods down the road.

Right, Bloodwood sounds pretty sweet actually, and #2 looks the boss.

I'd advise kicking open a new thread every time you've a new batch of pullers to sell. Their uniqueness is a real selling point, and a fresh thread lets us focus right on them instead of wondering what all the old comments are about.

Looks like I understated the shipping. It will be $12 shipped to Scotland.
