Would have loved a DT silver sticker and a clickclack as I do not have one yet. I am also a club member now so that really blows. Wouldn't have bought it anyway because too much $$$ but the IBM japan board is something desirable.

well I have a sticker here, I might have some duplicated if possible. I`ll have to look into that and see what can be done.

That sounds great! Do you have a clack you could duplicate for me too?

I think lately Claks are overated what was just a fun thing became something close to madness :(

Edit: damn this on-call tired me like hell I'm making so many typos, I'm getting too old for this shit... :(

Thanks Daniel it's a keychain that I got right after watching The Empire Strikes Back at the movie premiere 198?. It's quite thick metal and has the right size to mount on a keycap. I was thinking of sanding it.

Don't sand it, it's perfect like this.
Empire Strikes Back is the first movie I ever saw, in Romania the premiere was in 1984 ... four years later..., it was in winter and I went to see it with my father. It's one of my nicest memories :) I managed to find an original poster and had it framed.

Ah, you oldies. I was just too young to catch Star Wars in the cinema. The first time I saw them was as a teenager in the late 90s. Too late! I'd already seen Apocalypse Now and the Godfather by then, Star Wars made little impression on me. An old school friend of mine who is really into them saw the Ewok movie in a cinema when he was a small kid. Even that was enough to make all the difference.

OK no sanding. Yeah those movies blew me away too. The second one is still the best. I saw the trailer for the new one a couple of days ago. Nice how we're taking webwit's sales thread OT. :D

Wow empire strikes back is my favorite too. :) Saw it like 10 times as a kid. I had the original one(i think) without the CGI effects. I really like the original props and everything. Could we get a pic of that poster? :P You piqued my interest.

I am interested in that DT sticker, even if no clack included.

This is the poster, is from the 90's when they remastered the films:
Spoiler:
Image

I'm trying very hard to find the Romanian poster but that one is very rare. Even this one was hard to find as it's an original not a reprint.
I was around 5 years old when I saw this movie, it made a huge impression on me. Back then cinemas were the only place you could see a decent movie, we had only one propaganda TV channel 2-3 hours in rhe evening.
Back in the 80's I saw a lot of movies, those were nice times :)

Oh man I would love to try blue alps one time in my life! Why haven't I seen the thread earlier?
I'm really sure I want to take it, would it be possible to reserve it to me until I'm back from University? :) That would be really nice.

What time frame are we talking about? You were born in Moldova in a poor family of 12, and by working 12 hours a day, you were the only one they could afford to send to a university, and you'll be back in 6 years, graduated as a brain surgeon?
