IBM 3178 Pin Adapter for Model F Xwhatsit Controller - $7

Parts that have FAILED TESTING - likely can be repaired by someone who knows more about how to test which individual component is bad. Much cheaper than buying a single PCB if you were planning to build yourself and should have mostly working components:
Beamspring Xwhatsit Controller FAILED TESTING - $12
Model F XWhatsit Controller FAILED TESTING - $10
Solenoid Driver PCB - FAILED TESTING - $10

Solenoid Driver Bare PCB - No components populated - $5

Any item that you see on eBay here can be added to your invoice for a 10% discount of list price. Most popular items include pre-made Soarer’s Converters, SDL to USB Cables, 35g, 45g, and 55g Topre Keychain, Beamspring Switch testers, and many replacement switches (primarily ALPS). I am out of a few different types of Soarer’s Converter at the moment, but will be restocked in 2 weeks or so. Combining everything into one order will save a lot in shipping for international buyers if purchasing more than one item:
http://stores.ebay.com/Barcode-Maverick...7992169018

To get the above discount off of eBay pricing, PM me with which items you want and what quantity you want rather than purchasing through eBay. If you want a Soarer’s converter that is out of stock, I can wait until I have it in stock to ship the entire order together if you prefer.

The Custom Displaywriter controllers are those that I have detailed below which uses a modified Model F Xwhatsit controller and the only wiring to be done is changing the pin configuration to the 30 pin connector which is included in the kit. If you buy pre-assembled, I will have already wired it correctly to the 30 pin connector so that it is plug and play out of the box:

When ready to order, copy below and fill in the blanks with your information, PM me with that information, and I will send you a Paypal invoice. If you have not received the Paypal Invoice within 24 hours, send me a reminder PM. Items will ship to the address provided with the Paypal payment, so please make sure that this is correct before submitting your payment.

None of the items offered here will be available in the POTENTIAL capsense GB I might be running in the future. Especially not the Solenoid Drivers!

I have taken down the solenoids for sale at the moment. I think there are a few more, but don't want to oversell them before the previously placed orders ship. Everyone who has already placed orders has theirs reserved.

As a public service announcement, when hooking up the patch cable, the RED WIRE GOES TO THE SQUARE PAD ON BOTH THE SOLENOID DRIVER AND XWHATSIT. Plugging it in backwards could damage the solenoid driver potentially (I have not personally tested this though).

I may be switching to all red wire patch cables, but will label which wire goes to the square pad on both ends of the patch cable if I end up having to do that.

The Xwhatsit Beamspring Controllers have arrived! I have tested a few and they work well! They do have some surface scratches on the 30 pin connector's blue housings happened before they were installed, probably from rubbing against other Connectors while being transported in the same container as the solderable pins on them are kind of sharp. This is purely cosmetic though and they work great!

Will get final testing done this weekend and commence shipping orders on Monday as planned :)

Added photos and also options to buy controllers that failed testing for about 1/3 the price of working ones. Most likely is a single component that is bad, but I don't have the knowhow to do individual component testing. Could just be a faulty solder joint too potentially, but don't have time to mess with this or attempt to rework due to lack of experience in this field. Will be much cheaper than building your own even if you just use the PCB and a couple components :)
