[FS] IBM Model F62 "Kishsaver" 4704 - USB

Serious offers only. Will also do trades...only for very rare keyboards on par with kishsaver.

Selling a IBM Model F62 Kishsaver that is modded with USB.

You can pm me here but also just send me an e-mail at: NivlomDrol@gmail.com

Keyboard is in great condition, has been repaired some keys weren't registering and is fully functional.

It is the original PCB, the spring switches are stock, key caps are a beauty, metal chasis is stock, the foam was replaced with brand new foam, whatsit controller installed for USB and got a new paint job.

I could just list on Ebay for bidding but I am giving this forum priority for first in line.

I am going to post pictures however I am first seeing what in general I could get for the keyboard.

If the offers aren't strong enough I will just keep it honestly.

Thanks.

If an IBM Unsaver went for $3,000 on Ebay this year. You can expect it to be higher, Kishsaver is much more rare than the IBM Model F Unsaver.

If you're willing to take some pics of the board with a timestamp similar to those done on /r/mechmarket I might be interested in making an offer.

And the last used one went for like 600€ in an auction. Good luck with such a post and price expectation.

Basically pictures of the board with a sheet of paper visible in the picture with your DT username and today's date on the paper.

So you want people to seriously put forward at least a mortgage payment for your board but you will not take some serious pictures of the board.

Just list it on ebay please, oh wait ebay listing needs pictures.

I am dead serious about selling this beautiful piece of engineering.

You need real tastes to understand the Kishsaver. Very few human hands have felt its beauty.

How about any picture. Why do you expect people to make offers on something they haven’t seen? Even if someone says “hey I’ll give you $3,000, can I see pics?” You’re still going to have to provide pics of its condition. I think it’s safe to say that price is directly proportional to condition.

Also keep in mind that many people are looking forward to the F62/F77 remake by ellipse. If those are even close to the same quality and feel (and at this point if they aren’t then people will be pissed) then these OG boards will probably lose much of their value for the general community.

When are those keyboards even going to be released? Let's be honest.

I'd be surprised if they didn't ship by the end of 2019. I'm patient enough to wait a year tbh.

I have my pre-order in as well so it will indeed be interesting to see how they stack up.
