Hello Deskthorians,
I just wanted to let ya'll know that I will be launching the new LightCycle full set group buy on March 1st 2017. The kit is locked in and there won't be any changes.
It will be $160 per set and available either with MX or Alps stems.
Order here https://thevankeyboards.com/products/li ... keycap-set
I am running this set close to the line and am only collecting less than $4 per set for myself. The MOQ for each stem is 50.
I will take orders for 17 days (group buy ends on March 17th)
Sincerely,
TheVanMan

Same as backspace, so 1.5, but I noticed that your \ for the top row is 1.5 instead of 1 now that you've put out your key map. I guess I was mistaken- I was thinking that was for whitefox, and I guess that was for alternate coloring on the \?
Just looked at your compat kit... that's awesome!

I just wet myself when you mentioned ALPS Stems for this key-set .evangs wrote: ↑ It will be $160 per set and available either with MX or Alps stems.
PLEASE make it happen otherwise another plain MX based key-set, would be extremely underwhelming.

I'm definitely in for an Alps set. Gotta remember to pick up a stabilizer pack from Matias.ca for that pesky right Shift key.
I'm debating whether or not to pick up an MX set as well. Not for me, but as a surprise for a friend who is a TRON fanatic (but not yet a mech keyboard user). I guess I have two more months to decide on this.

This is an interesting buy based of pricing and what not, but based on the first day I'm feeling pretty good. MX base is already at moq, alps baseus about halfway and both compat kits are about 1/5. With 16 days left I'm not too worried. That being said, we are gonna need to pull together to make it happen.zslane wrote: ↑Just placed my order for one Base kit in each of MX and Alps formats. Fingers crossed!

I agree. If there's any chance that the Alps base set can reach the MOQ in ~1-2 weeks then just let it run. These things always take time, and those current Alps buyers would be shattered if they can't reach the MOQ.
