Super duper edit: Thanks to some really cool bros, I now have a proxy for both China and the UK! This means more efficient and cheaper(I hope) shipping for those who need it. Also, even though I said I would send shipping estimates when I do invoices, I am instead waiting to invoice for shipping until I have the sets ready to ship. This makes the shipping price more accurate, and is also a good way to confirm that your shipping address is correct at that time.
As some of you may recall, I did an interest check a few months ago for GMK Coniferous, and I am now proud to announce that it is open for group buy at http://donutcables.com/coniferous.php . The render and layout can be see here . The set is priced at $150 with an MOQ of 150 units and will drop to $135 if 250 units are reached. The set will be shipped in GMK's trays and will cost from $17-$22 for tracked and insured shipping CONUS, around $16 to Canada, and then about $25 shipped international. More precise shipping estimates will be given when I send out invoices. Included in that shipping price is $2 materials cost for packing, labels, and boxes themselves. For those in the Eastern part of the globe, I am working with someone on running the buy from China, which I hope will improve accessibility and keep shipping costs the lowest they can be.
This buy will run until Feb 28th, at which point I will send out all invoices. After all invoices are collected, mass payment will be sent to GMK and the 10-12 week production will start. Around late May/early June the order should be shipped to me, and upon receipt I will be putting other projects(cables, gatistotles) on hold and go through the process of inspecting each set for damage/mistakes, send confirmation emails to each buyer to confirm their PayPal shipping address is up to date, then package and ship all sets. In the event of damage or mistakes to individual sets, I will be buying approximately 1 extra set per 10 orders to have on hand to replace those damaged or wrong sets. In the event of large scale mistakes or damage, I will then have to contact GMK to come to a solution.
Here's to hoping that we reach the 250 MOQ, and maybe even get GMK to lower their price more! Feel free to send me any questions you may have and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

Can I ask how the colours compare with the GMK Carbon colours please.

I know that the Carbon novelties used the same dark grey, I'm not sure about the set itself as I can't currently find a mockup with color codes for it.

Carbon used custom colours. They do not match with N9donutcat wrote: ↑I know that the Carbon novelties used the same dark grey, I'm not sure about the set itself as I can't currently find a mockup with color codes for it.

Thanks duynguyenle.
Coniferous looks smart. I saw a render with grey legends (instead of green) and I think I'd prefer that. Good luck with the drop either way.

Like I said, the novelties used N9, but at the time I didn't know how close the main set would be.
Also, little update, we're currently sitting right around 100 out of 150(might be a couple accidental double orders across proxies, not sure) so we're almost there. Need about 50 more orders in about 1.5weeks, but I think we can do it.

I know I keep asking about colours, but how similar is the cream from Coniferous to the cream on Carbon (demonstrated here: post358729.html#p358729)?
Thanks!

I wasn't really sure how this set would look on a real keyboard (outside of renders), but it turns out I like the mix of colors quite a bit.

My initial reaction upon seeing them in the plastic wrapper was 'ugh!' - the shiny wrapper and all the clear plastic don't flatter the colour scheme.
But once it's on a board it looks really very nice.
And incidentally, I think the set looks as close to the renders as I've seen with a GMK set.
