Trying not to be an A-hole here (it's hard) but isn't the Star and Stripes a "US" icon because it doesn't scream at me belonging to the USSR?

Please someone let him know that even though the US hasn't invaded yet in the end it (Russia) will become another conscripted country belonging to the United States. Hence why the rush to start changing the original USSR iconography?

Dont worry Star on stripes does not belong to US only. It has wide use by military around the world.

In case of Yuri stripes behind the star represent the Ribbon of Saint George. That ribbon was used by UDSSR military and it is also used by Russia.

I would be interested in the base and international kits (and a Mac kit if available).

Forgive my ignorance but I don't see the international kit on MD. Will this be available in the first run?

The kits for MD vore are outdated. Also most aspects (like profile) have changed. However the vote is made just for the colorway. I think international kit will be available in the first run.

Yuri does not use GMK standard colors. Thus all three colors are custom.

It will drop on Massdrop, probably in April.

Base kit
- ISO DE (><| and '#) keys have been moved to international kit instead added an |\ key for row 4 as filler for pseudo iso. In short you want a proper ISO? Get the international kit and support your ISO fellows!

Cyrillic kit
- Added missing number keys. Now it is possible avoid base set for making cyrillic ergodox, plank or 60% board with icon mods. Keep in mind all the child deals will be unlocked only after base kit shows some impressive numbers!

International kit
- Migrated missing ISO DE keys (><| and '#) from base kit.

Icon mods kit
- Added escape keys and bottom row keys (alt, fn, control, etc...) as icons. It is now possible to avoid base set and cover a cyrillic 60% board with icon mods.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first time I see GMK caps with a Colemak option, right?

I'm really exited. Finally I can try out GMK keys on my Ergodox with Colemak. Love the DC kit.

Replacing the ISO DE keys with \| keys is a very good move. Also, adding full icon coverage to the Icon mods is great.

International kit
- "/|" key has been removed. Its available in base kit as filler for iso.

Icon mods kit
- Added new icons in close cherry font style (see escape and alt keys)
- There will be no os specific keys.
- HHKB Backspace is now just an back arrow.

This will be the first try to introduce Colemak/Dvorak into Cherry Profile. Everything depends on 150 moq. I hope it tips.

I strongly encourage you to buy the Colemak kit to ensure your fellow keyboard enthusiasts who use Colemak or Dvorak meet the 150 mqo. It's noble, it's the right thing todo and you want that key. ^____^

I must say that I like these centered icon mods much, much more than the newer left aligned ones on geekhack. The new icons are nice, but the alignment... not so much.

Update.

Base kit
- Added two 1.5u "Code" for HHKB look alike keyboards.

Ergodox/Planck kit
- Changed some row 4 keys to row 4 convex (look for R4c)
- Added two additional R4c keys for grid planck

Icon Mods kit
- Added new icon modifiers for Code/Win/Super/OS, Alt, Menu, Control and Escape keys.

I'm planning to build new 60% keyboard with Cyrillic letters only. From my understanding I would need to order Base kit and then if it will become available also the Cyrillic kit? No option to order directly Cyrillic alphas with modifiers?

Actually for 60% you should be able to get just cyrillics and icon mods. Though icon mods are not meant to be to replace base set. Icon mods are optional addon. Just underlining this, so people dont come up with statements that icon mods are alternative. But as you can see for 60% you can avoid base set and i think its good since both cyrillics and icon mods introduce new legends.

Update.

Ergodox/Planck kit
- Added complete row 4 bottom row. The reason for this is some people want to use some 1u modifiers from the base set. For example arrows or ctrl/alt keys. Same counts for planck adn probably some of you might need the convex keys only for raise/low and the 2u spacebar. The extra 12 keys will not hurt the prcing and i think having options is worth it.

Following is not an update. And i want just to hear your opinion.
